Hectic?

Is the universe and our place in it hectic? Regardless of your perspective on the appropriateness of statement versus question, is it fair to say that most of us lead very hectic lives? Why is that? Is it our choice?

What does it mean, when someone says, “I got it”? Does that mean I know how and am capable of doing it? Rather, could it mean, “leave me alone I can do this”? Maybe, I do not want your help? Is this not something we learn to say as we strive for independence, at a young age?

Is true discipline about mindset or actions? Is it actually about both? Would it not be difficult to be disciplined without taking action? Does discipline move our mindset toward personal responsibility and growth?

Control?

Why do some want to have control above all else? Does it not seem that some people want to control the universe and everyone in it? How does that work-out for them? Has the universe not been controlling itself for quite a long time? Do we still not understand the universe? If we do not understand it, how can we control it?

A purpose?

Is purpose why people do the things that they do? Is it easy to pursue a purpose? Will it be challenging? Does finding our purpose lead to understanding our own sense of why

leadership?

What is leadership? Can leadership be developed or is it an inherited trait? Is it all about obtaining the qualities or attributes of a good or great leader? Is there a leadership template?

More?

Do we always want more? Do we always need more? Does most everyone want more? Why? When is enough; enough?

Truth?

Why is the truth so often hard to accept, especially if it is contradictory to one’s own beliefs? Is this really why Galileo lost his life? A lack of acceptance of the truth?

Persuasion?

What is important to swaying people toward you view? Is it about selling your view and opinions? Is it about the facts? Is it about finding common ground as a basis for communication?
