Can People Change?

Can people change themselves? Would the simple, absolute and obvious answer be, yes? Would the process to make a dramatic change, however, be very complex and challenging? Why is it so difficult to make meaningful change? What considerations are involved? Is the number one factor in change, the personal commitment of the person making the change?

What does commitment to a change mean? Is it, at a basic level, believing that the change is more important than the comfort of the status quo?

Can people change themselves? Is it easy? It is possible, is it not?

What is the process for significant change? Does it start with a firm belief that the change is possible? Must the person making the change be truly committed to making that change? Is a growth mindset required? Must one develop new habits to replace old ones to move in a new direction? How does that process work?

Must one embrace a positive mindset concerning change to affect the desired change?

What is your perspective on change? Do you embrace change? Are you committed to the changes you want to make? Are there significant changes you want to make in your life?
