You?

How do people define themselves? What makes them who they are? Is it what they believe? What they do? What they accomplish?

How can one go about the discovery of who they really are? Can this be accomplished through self-reflection? Does it take input from others, perhaps, trusted family and friends? Is there an analytical test that will reveal it? Is it a life-long process? Will AI help us to find ourselves?

Does it require extensive research? How does one research who is the person at their core? Where do they research? Research in what fields? Is it philosophy, self-development, psychology, mindfulness, meta-physics, personal history, genealogy or what?

“Become who you are.”– Friedrich Nietzsche

Once you begin to understand who you are, what can you do to be more? Or maybe less, in some circumstances?

Do you like who you are? What specifically do you like about yourself? Are there things that you dislike? Are you satisfied with who you are? Do you want to be more? Do you have a plan for better understanding who you are? Are you trying to change? What do you want to be? Is it about who you think you are or how others see you? Who are you now? Who have you been? Who will you be? Do you have a plan for growth and development?

Do you have suggestions to help others with their search?

  1. Good questions. Who is the real me? I think we all know the answer on some level. But those who have a more conscious awareness of the answer have come about it through much introspection.
