Self-Esteem? EGO?

What exactly is self-esteem? Are ego and self-esteem the same quality? Is there a correlation between them? Is there a causal effect of one on the other?

How important to a life of well-being is self-esteem? How does ego influence a life of well-being? Which is the most important?

Does everyone have an ego and self-esteem? Do they conflict? Do they facilitate mutual growth? Are both necessary to a healthy mindset?

Is self-esteem about who we are? Is ego about how we are perceived or how we want to be perceived?

Where can we see the differences between ego and self-esteem? Is empathy a trait of healthy self-esteem that is missing in big egos? Are egos oriented inwardly toward oneself, while self-esteem embraces external factors? Is the consideration of other perspectives and even criticism, indicative of self-esteem, but not ego?

Is it important to discern whose opinion is most important, our own or others?

How is your self-esteem? Are you comfortable in your own skin? Are you an impostor or are you worthy of your success? Do value your own opinions? Do you require validation from others? Are you beset with doubts? Do you believe in yourself? Does the world revolve around you? How do you respond to criticism?
