Gratitude & Thanksgiving

Does, a celebration of gratitude deserve more than a single day or a specific time? Is true Thanksgiving more a mindset reflecting gratitude for life and for the people in it? Is gratitude really a philosophy of life in itself?

Gratitude? Could there be a better word upon which to reflect during this holiday season? As we celebrate with friends and family, as we consider our wishes and goals for next year, do we not become aware of our gifts and blessings? Is this a great opportunity to be grateful for who we are, for what we have and for our lives?

Thanksgiving?

What predominates in our thankful reflections on Thanksgiving? With all the division in this country, over the last few years, are not most of us still thankful for the Stars and Stripes and the country for which it stands? Is celebration and appreciation of family a focus for most on thanksgiving?

Gratitude?

Is “thank you” a phrase you hear a lot during the holidays, as we approach the end of the year? Do you believe that there is a real sense of gratitude in the frequent “thanks” you hear? What is gratitude?
