Is it Time Yet?

Is it finally time to step-up to save the environment? Is saving the environment actually a misnomer? Do we need to realize that we need to save the planet? How long do we wait? If we want to sustain this planet, in order for it to be able to sustain us, is there a critical need for immediate massive action?

Are we finally past the phony political pettiness of whether the severe damage to the environment is real? Would any objective view not demonstrate the harm done to Mother Earth by hundreds of years of neglect and destruction? Is there any doubt that the worst of that damage has occurred in the last 100 years?

The question is no longer, if we need to take action. The question is what can we do to stem the tide? Are there not courageous people and even nations that are out there leading the way to save this planet before it is too late? Does Mother Earth need everyone and all constituencies to join the fight? Is local, national and international pro-active, coordinated effort required?

“The only way forward, if we are going to improve the quality of the environment, is to get everybody involved.”–Richard Rogers

The problem cannot be denied, except by those with self-seeking motives, including greed, power and ego. This is not a climate problem; this is a human problem? What will future generations of grandchildren say about this generation? Will they say, we saved the planet or that we destroyed the planet

Are you aware that Friday, April 22nd is Earth Day? (The 53rd) Will you personally do something to help the earth? It can be simple: plant a tree, avoid purchasing plastic, recycle, drive less. Will you join the cause to save the planet? Will you invest in the planet?

Will you just ignore it?
