Thoughts?

Are we what we think? Can we become what we think? What determines what we think? Do we control our own thoughts? From where do our thoughts originate? Are we totally in control of our own thoughts? Can our thoughts be controlled by outside forces or by other people? Do we think in our sleep?

How many thoughts do we have in a day? In an hour? In a minute? In a second? If we are whelmed by an abundance of often conflicting thoughts, what do we do?

What happens when we get lost in our thoughts? What does that even mean? Does it really happen?

Do you have a favorite place and time that brings out your best thinking? Do you seek out places which are conducive to contemplation? Does solitude lend itself to thought?

“A thought, even a possibility, can shatter and transform us.”
― Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche

Can we send our thoughts to others without verbal or non-verbal clues? Can we receive thoughts from others? Without words? Without signs?

How do you think? Do you make thinking a priority? About what do you think?
