Valuing People?

What does it mean to value others? Why do some people become important in our life and other seemingly similar people do not?

Do we value people because of who they are?

Do we value those who inspire us? What is the key to inspire value in others?

Do we value people who add to our life in some way?

Do we value those who value us?

Is value determination an emotional or an intellectual decision?

Is value about likability? Do we value some whom we do not like? Conversely, do we like some people, but do not really value them?

Do common beliefs influence value? Do we value those who stand up for their beliefs, or only those who stand up for beliefs that coincide with our own?
