Artificial? Intelligence?

Artificial intelligence is here! It is exploding around us! It has a polarizing presence and brings with it a plethora of questions, hope and fears!

Why is it called artificial? Why is it so scary to so many? What great discoveries will it bring? How is it already being used? How quickly does it work? Is there something new every day or even every hour with AI?

Is it a fear of the unknown that causes so many to cringe at the mere mention of artificial intelligence? Does it revolve about trying to understand what controls will be in place? Or even if there can be controls? How will it develop? Does it have limits? Can it have limits?

Will humans become superfluous? Will Artificial Intelligence rule the world, as we humans watch as spectators, just along for the ride?

Are the questions endless? Will AI solve the major issues facing this planet? Will it find cures for catastrophic diseases? Will it find a way to end world hunger? Will it explain the universe? Will it take control world economics? Will it make it easier to hit a curve ball? Could it officiate competitions fairly?

What causes it to be labeled as artificial? What does artificial mean in this context? Is AI not real?

Does AI actually foster connection with Universal intelligence? Is Artificial Intelligence, in reality…. Universal Intelligence?
