NOW?

Is there any other time frame in which we can live, except now?
If yesterday is gone and tomorrow never arrives, does it behoove us to live today, now, in the present moment? Are we required to accept the status quo, if we live in the present? Or? Can we continue to learn from and build on the past? Can we still plan for the future?

Drifting?

What is drifting? Does it involve living without direction? Are drifters literally blowing in the wind? Are they susceptible to any and all outside

CRITICISM?

Why is criticism so hard for some to accept? Is it often a knee-jerk reaction of anger at the idea that someone would dare to question your expertise? Does this most often occur when we have our own doubts about what we said?

hurry?

Hurry! Hurry! Hurry! Does that seem to be mantra by which we live our lives? Are seemingly always in a hurry to get things done, to move on to the next project, to reach the next goal?

REALLY?

Is “really?” a common reaction to what people say? Are we often surprised, shocked or incredulous about the words that come out of someone’s mouth?

change?

Why does change often seem so scary? Do we prefer the status-quo of our comfort zone where we have a sense of what is demanded of us? Is it basically, a fear of the unknown? Does it reflect a lack of confidence in our ability to adapt to a new set of demands?

Own it?

Did I say that? Did I do that? Do I own that? Is it important to take responsibility for our words, decisions and actions? Is this the norm? I

respect?

What is Respect?
Is disrespect the norm now? Is it commonplace for people to attack those who disagree with them? Is listening and seeking common ground becoming even rarer?

Aging?

Is aging just a part of the life process over which we have no control? Are there societal factors involved? Do personal mindsets affect the aging process? Can we influence aging through the lifestyles we chose and the decisions we make?

THANKSGIVING?

What does it really mean to give thanks? Are thanksgiving and gratitude synonymous? Are there nuances in the words that separate them in meaning? Can one give thanks without being grateful? Can one be grateful without giving thanks? Are grateful and thankful synonymous?
