I know?

What do we know? What do we really know?

Is a lot of what we “know”, in actuality, what we think we know? Is it beliefs and opinions?

When people proclaim their opinions as facts, are they trying to convince themselves or others? Do we often know that they are just opinions?

Is it often important that are beliefs are true? Is it fair to say that we want what we know to actually be the way it is?

Do people sometimes present or even argue vehemently for things which they think are true, but are not? Why?

If knowledge is power, knowing what we don’t know is wisdom. –Adam Grant

Are long held beliefs sometimes disproven? At one time, did people “know” that the earth was the center of the universe, with everything revolving around it? Even today, is it not a fact, that bees are not aerodynamically sound and cannot fly? But. they do.

How confident are you in the things that you know? Do you keep your mind open to differing perspectives and new information? How do you research what you know? Do you know what you don’t know, as well as what you do know? Is that important?
