Unplug to Recharge?

Does it seem like the world is spinning at a faster rate than ever before? Are our minds keeping pace or at least trying to do so?

What happens when we get overwhelmed, overstressed and worn out? What do we do to recover our energy, our sanity and our drive?

What approaches bring us back to our base mindset? If we take lots of caffeine-based drinks or “power fuel” supplements, can we be energized to return to the fray?

Is the old adage about “keeping the nose to the grindstone” the answer?

Could a possible solution to this dilemma involve not diving into the chaos? Could letting the maelstrom continue, but extracting yourself from it, be beneficial? Could even a brief respite provide a path forward?

What ways are there to reflect on who we are rather than where we are? What can we do to let the world spin without us temporarily? Could we gain some new insights from such an escape?
