Do many of us have a love/hate relationship with sleep? Do we crave sleep, but dedicate ourselves to doing “one more thing” first or watching one more episode?
Do we sometimes, almost try multi-tasking sleep? Do we attempt to fall asleep, while watching tv, listening to loud music or devoting ourselves to a focused worry session? Do we retire just as, our latest food intake, starts the digestive process?
How do we handle the “wide-awake” realizations, in the middle of the night? Do we determinedly, often with frustration or anger, resolve to get back to sleep, no matter how long it takes? Do we pursue activities that will help us to fall asleep; like watching tv, reading or getting on the internet?
Is sleep a very complex process with a lot of ramifications?
“There are few things that can’t be fixed by a good night’s sleep.”
